According to scriptures, God has endowed individuals with diverse spiritual gifts for complementarity (1 Corinthians 12:11’25). The apostle Paul advised using different methods, including writing, to spread the gospel worldwide (Romans 15:19-20). In 2020, I began editing articles for the University Christian organization’s website (www.cepurhuye.org), recognizing the power of writing in spreading the message of Jesus Christ.
Following a brief period of engaging in that form of ministry, I had the opportunity to connect with a fellow student from the same Christian community. During our conversation, I would like to highlight a specific insight that aligns with the purpose of this website (Initiative), which I have decided to present in an organized manner.
- You are God’s masterpiece chosen for a purpose.
- The words that God has placed in you, once written as articles, will support many.
- Unwritten ideas are volatile and forgettable—nothing is more volatile than unwritten ideas.
- A crucial reminder: “You are like David anointed in the bush/forest, not yet manifested in the front of the Israelites.” This revealed that I am in the training phase of my purpose.
Her final message served as a crucial reminder and evidence that she was a messenger guiding me to understand my purpose in the world. Drawing a parallel to David’s anointing in the bush and delayed manifestation before the Israelites, it conveyed the idea that, despite initial worshipful expressions, I am in a developmental phase, undergoing training for the purpose God has created me to fulfill.
In 2020, I commenced writing Christian-related articles, continuing for a year and nine months until 2022. Prayerfully, I sought successor authors, and God answered, allowing other gifts to flourish and recognizing the need for fresh voices on the platform (1 Kings 8:16-18).
Following my departure as the author of cepurhuye.org and the welcoming of new authors, coupled with the Holy Spirit’s prompting to continue writing articles, this website was established to expand ministry efforts.
Call to Action
We invite all those passionate about the above sectors to join our team, contributing to the world through article writing and providing counseling support to those in need.
Every author is inherently a reader, but not every reader becomes an author. This concept resonates with the wisdom imparted by a university instructor who emphasized, “If you can’t read the books, you can’t write a book.” While I may entertain critiques of this notion, I choose to rely on it, acknowledging the circumstances I encountered in my journey.
- Language barriers.
- Limited writing skills.
- Opposition and criticism.
- Struggles to reconcile personal ideas with divine guidance.
- Challenges in humility and accepting corrections and rejecting others’ ideas.
Despite these challenges, the journey persists with a commitment to growth and learning
Despite facing these challenges, I recalled the timeless truth that nothing is entirely new under heaven (Ecclesiastes 1:9) and reflected on the possibility that Jeremiah, too, faced challenges in writing, leading him to request Baruch as his scribe (Jeremiah 36:4). Drawing parallels, I acknowledged the criticisms the Jews received during the rebuilding of their town and gates (Ezra 4, Nehemiah 4:1). This reinforced my understanding that the walls I am building would not escape critics and opposition. Paul’s struggle with reconciling
Key Scriptures Guiding My Response:
- The strength of collaboration (Ecclesiastes 4:9)
- Unity in diversity, forming one body (1 Corinthians 12:25)
- Humility in knowledge (1 Corinthians 8:2)
- Acknowledging unworthiness despite fulfilling assigned tasks (Luke 17:10)
- Faith devoid of personal glory (John 5:41, 45)
Man’s wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:17) served as a reminder.
The website’s name is www.gashugiyves.org. This site is envisioned as part of the evangelistic center’s online and physical departments, extending its vision to encompass additional departments in the future.
Why Use a Personal Name on the Website
It’s uncommon to see websites publishing articles under the name of an individual, be it the owner or someone else. In the religious realm, websites often incorporate biblical terms in expressing their vision. However, I made the deliberate choice to use a personal name without any intention of self-promotion. This decision stems from the belief that under heaven, no name can save the lost except that of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). After extensive contemplation and prayer for divine guidance, I settled on this name, which may evolve or remain based on God’s revelation.
The profound reason behind this choice is our acknowledgment of those whom God used to write biblical books, such as Paul. While we read his writings (Pauline), our praise, belief, and following are directed not toward Paul himself, but to the one he wrote about—Jesus Christ. In line with this, I earnestly caution and encourage readers of this website to focus on nothing else but the message of Christ. The Bible affirms that, through writing, John clarified that he was not the Light but came to testify about the Light (John 1:8).
For those who have traversed the academic realm, the commencement of lectures is preceded by the articulation of course goals. Similarly, this website will address and impact the community through five main sectors:
- Leadership
- Church
- Healing
- Family
- Criticism
I express gratitude to:
- God
- Readers
- Janvier Rukundo, Celine Uwishema, Yannick Niyirera for their unwavering support in designing and building this platform
- Ernestine Kanyana and Bienvenu Louange Byiringiro for their continuous assistance in editing the articles
Jesus commanded us to go into all nations, preach the gospel, make disciples, and teach them to obey His words (Matthew 28:16-20). This is achieved in various ways, including writing articles shared on different social media platforms to reach many people. As Paul planted a seed, Apollos watered it, but God is the one who makes it grow (1 Corinthians 3). Our role is to plant the seeds (write articles), water them (explain and share), and God will make them grow (impact).
